Announcement of the start of registration for the summer school for the benefit of the children of the national community abroad

The Embassy of Algeria in Bucharest informs members of the Algerian community residing in Romania and North Macedonia that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of National Education, intends to launch a first-of-its-kind initiative: the establishment of educational programs for the children of the Algerian community abroad, in the form of summer camps.

This initiative, scheduled to take place from July 6 to August 13, 2026, is a response to the concerns of our national community, aiming to enable their children to benefit from Arabic language lessons according to the national curriculum and to strengthen their understanding of the components of national identity in its various historical, cultural, and spiritual dimensions. The training will be organized into three two-week sessions, totaling twelve (12) hours, with three two-hour sessions per week, according to the following schedule:

Session 1: July 6-17, 2026; The second session will be held from July 19 to 30, 2026;

The third session will be held from August 2 to 13, 2026.
Participants will be divided into two groups based on the following age categories:

Group 1: Children aged 8 to 12 years;

Group 2: Children aged 13 to 16 years.

This initiative, in its initial pilot phase, will cover fourteen (14) provinces: Chlef, Bejaia, Biskra, Tlemcen, Tiaret, Algiers, Jijel, Setif, Skikda, Annaba, El Bayadh, El Oued, Khenchela, and Ain Temouchent.

The Embassy also informs those interested in participating that the educational program prepared by the Ministry of National Education, along with the registration form, are available to them and can be obtained by contacting the Embassy. The Embassy of Algeria in Bucharest encourages members of the Algerian community residing in Romania and North Macedonia to seize this opportunity and enable their children to benefit from this initiative.
