Mr. Magramane Presents Algeria’s Vision at the High-Level Segment of the UN Economic and Social Council in New York

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounes Mokerman, participated today in New York in the high-level segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, where he reviewed Algeria's vision on the theme "The Road to 2030."

In this context, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented Algeria's experience, the features of which were defined by the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which are based on adopting balanced public policies based on social justice that allowed for the improvement of many indicators, such as the increase in the level of social coverage.

Mr. Muqarman also addressed the factors necessary for the success of the 2027 Sustainable Development Goals Conference, particularly bridging the financing gap, reforming international financial institutions, narrowing the digital divide, transferring technology, and enhancing multilateral cooperation in line with national priorities
